Mobile DJ Services in Beaverton, OR

Beaverton sits at the center of Oregon’s Silicon Forest, home to Nike’s 286-acre world headquarters and roughly 300 other tech companies, which means corporate event bookings here look different than almost anywhere else in the state: launch parties, holiday gatherings, and conferences tied to a tech calendar rather than a wedding season entirely. Portland DJ Dan Weisman provides mobile DJ services in Beaverton, OR, built around that reality, not a generic suburban DJ package sold everywhere.

A Nike campus launch event and a wedding at Jenkins Estate need almost nothing in common from a mobile DJ service in Beaverton beyond showing up prepared and ready for the actual crowd sitting in the room that day. Portland DJ Dan Weisman covers weddings, corporate events, and general mobile DJ bookings throughout Beaverton, adjusting equipment, music, and MC style to whichever kind of event is actually happening that day, no exceptions ever. Here’s the full range covered.

Wedding DJ Services

A wedding DJ handles more than a playlist: timing the first dance, coordinating with venue staff at a property like Jenkins Estate or The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club, and reading the room to know when to keep the floor full and when to ease back a little. Portland DJ Dan Weisman plans each Beaverton wedding around the actual venue, not a generic format.

DJ Services

Not every event fits neatly into “wedding” or “corporate”: a birthday party, a school fundraiser, or a private celebration in a Beaverton backyard or rented hall somewhere nearby. Portland DJ Dan Weisman offers versatile DJ Services to handle those bookings with the same preparation as any larger event, scaling equipment and set list to whatever the occasion actually calls for.

Mobile DJ Services

A Mobile DJ Services in Beaverton has to bring professional sound and lighting to venues that don’t always come with their own setup already installed, a golf club reception room, a Nike-area hotel conference space, or a backyard off Farmington Road somewhere. Portland DJ Dan Weisman travels with equipment built for exactly that kind of gap.

(971) 930-7140

Corporate Party DJ Services

Corporate Party DJ Services in Beaverton often mean something specific: a Nike or Silicon Forest company hosting a launch, a holiday party, or a milestone celebration that needs music matched to a professional environment, not a wedding-style dance floor. Portland DJ Dan Weisman treats tech-company events as their own category, reading a corporate crowd’s actual energy.

About Dan

Who I Am?

Mobile DJs in Beaverton work two different event calendars. Silicon Forest companies like Nike book corporate events tied to product launches and fiscal quarters, while couples book weddings at venues like Cooper Mountain Vineyards or Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club tied to a more traditional wedding season. Portland DJ Dan Weisman plans around both. A Nike-adjacent corporate event needs music that supports networking and professional conversation, not a dance floor built for a reception. A Beaverton wedding at a golf club or vineyard needs its own approach entirely, timed around the actual venue’s layout and the couple’s actual taste.

Why Choose Portland DJ Dan Weisman in Oregon, USA

A professional mobile DJ in Beaverton needs to understand that a Silicon Forest corporate crowd and a wedding reception crowd respond to completely different things, and running the same energy at both is how one event feels flat and the other feels overwhelming to guests standing around uncomfortably all night. Portland DJ Dan Weisman reads each event for what it actually is before building a set, not after arriving on site and guessing.

Reasons to Trust

You get a real, honest conversation about your venue and your crowd before booking anything at all, not a generic package sold to everyone.

Your Best Choice

One DJ handles setup, MC duties, and teardown from start to finish at your event, so you’re not managing several separate vendors.

Right Choice for You

A Nike-area corporate mixer and a Cooper Mountain Vineyards wedding reception both get their music planned specifically around the crowd.

Professional

Backup equipment travels along to every single event booked, because a point of failure isn’t acceptable on a wedding day or a launch.

Serving Beaverton, OR & Nearby Oregon Communities

Dan brings event music to Beaverton and the Oregon communities nearby, built around your venue, your audience, and the occasion. Weddings, private celebrations, company gatherings, school events. He adjusts the setup to fit the space and your schedule. Portland, Hillsboro, and Gresham are part of his wider coverage area too. Before the event, you can talk through music preferences, special announcements, microphones, lighting, and timing. That makes it easier to keep things smooth and organized from setup to the final song, and it means you’re not getting a one-size-fits-all package.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dan is so great! We had him for our wedding August 2026 and the crowd loves him, he is very personable, and he did great playing our music with our specific requests included to play certain songs at certain times and even to fade out our first dance song towards the end. He did great communicating and making sure he kept me informed of the time as needed to keep me on track with the upcoming events and music changes. His sound system did not fault and he was super prepared with everything when we arrived, including the microphones which worked great. He was so sweet and we highly recommend him! We will certainly be telling our friends for their upcoming weddings

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DJ Dan was a great MC and DJ for our wedding! He made jokes with the audience while calling tables for the buffet, and kept things moving with the right tone, without being overbearing. The music was great to dance to and kept people on the dance floor all night! We had some technical issues with the mic during the ceremony, but otherwise everything ran smoothly so we could enjoy the night. I would recommend DJ Dan for your next event or wedding.

We highly recommend DJ Dan. His communication, helpful planning, experience, and sound system really helped to make our day better than we imagined.
Reasons you should hire DJ Dan
1. From the beginning we planned via phone calls-this helped us get to know each other and create a plan that fit our day perfectly
2. The sound. We had 2 completely different areas that needed sound (ceremony/reception). Everyone could hear perfectly. It was clear with smooth transitions.
3. The music. We were able to share our own made playlists via Spotify with our selected songs for ceremony and our preferences for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He made himself familiar with our exact songs.
4. Master of ceremonies. During dinner he helped keep our guests engaged and organized for a buffet service. He knew our timeline, is great on a mic, and never let a silent moment go.
5. Bonus! During/after our wedding he went above and beyond capturing photos/videos of our reception and shared it with us. What a special surprise to receive of moments I didn’t know were captured.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DJ Dan spun tunes for our grand opening event. He curated play list that appealed to my team and the attending guests. Dan arrived early for set up. He has professional and compact equipment—most appreciated in a retail environment. He gladly took and accommodated requests. His music set the tone for a great celebration.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dan was the DJ for my cousin once removed wedding out in battleground.

He was awesome he kept the music flowing all night taking requests of songs from young kids that he wasn't even familiar with and mixing them seamlessly into the evening.

His equipment was newer and high quality providing clear sound throughout the event space.

Verified Dan was easy to talk to and seemed willing to listen to song preferences. My daughter thought things were going to go well. We could not hear him with his PA system, even after i brought this to his attention. This was weird because we could hear the people giving their toasts using the same mic.

He played really odd and not great music as people were coming into our wedding reception. With all the great music choices available, this was strange elevator-like music that was really awful. He also did not play songs or genres the bride/groom asked for. Though once he started playing dance music the atmosphere did improve.

Although I'm sure he has a great sense of humor as other reviewers have noted, I did not appreciate being referred to as Good Golly Miss Molly at my daughters wedding.

Verified DJ Dan made our wedding a blast!! Everyone was on the dance floor. He created a playlist based on my specific tastes. He also played music and provided mics for our outdoor ceremony. The sound was amazing and even the last row could hear what was said. He was so enthusiastic and it shows that he loves what he does. He was very affordable and flexible! I would hire again in a heartbeat.

Verified We got married August 3, 2019 at The Armory in downtown Portland. My (now) husband (woohoo) was in charge of the DJ. He called two companies and ended up picking DJ Dan. They initially talked on the phone for about an hour and my husband was sold. He had also read Dan's reviews, which were very good! A DJ is half the fun of your wedding and to be honest, I wasn't sold at first...only because Dan didn't have as many reviews as the other company that my husband had called. But don't let that fool you! DJ Dan was AMAZING!! We loved him and so did everyone else. Our dance floor was full all night long! Before the wedding, we got the chance to meet with Dan who is very personable (we were coming from out of state and it's always nice to meet in person if you can), we emailed back and forth to get all the details sorted out, and we had a final phone call to work out all the fine/final details. Dan helped with the wedding timeline, showed us his itinerary of how he was going to run the night, asked questions about things I hadn't even thought about, and was able to give us advice about how he had seen things done in past weddings and leaving it up to us to chose what worked for us. The day of the wedding he came and set up a few hours before the wedding..which was great! Ensuring that he was on time and that everything worked. Everything felt so smooth that day! He has a lot of experience, he is a great value (we booked for an extra hour too!), fun, professional, easy to communicate with, and quick to respond! Thank you so much Dan for being part of our big day! It wouldn't have been the same without you!

Verified Incredibly talented DJ! I hired Dan for our Timberline wedding on 9/7/18 and all I can really say is WOW! I am not a super organized person and really did not have my ducks in a row as far as music (or so I thought). My husband and I are from 2 different cultures with extremely different taste in music. Because of this, I was looking for a DJ with some experience in meshing cultural music to help all of our guests feel welcome and have lots of fun. Dan absolutely nailed it! He helped me narrow down songs for every piece of the ceremony as well as the big songs for our reception (first dance, grand entrance, father daughter). This was exceptional because he listened to who we were and made song suggestions based on who we were as a couple and not just what he liked or what is popular. He came prepared with songs he researched (on his own without even a little help from me) as well as taking requests for music he has never even heard before that day and working them into the party. Although no one could tell because he is SO good at what he does, I am sure this was not an easy wedding to DJ and he made it look and sound so perfect. Dan went above and beyond any expectation I could Imagine. He helped my brother in law prepare for officiating. He worked with the photographer to make everything I failed to plan happen like clockwork and I never had to stress about anything. Dan brought his A game to my wedding and stayed on top of it all night. My guests didn't even want to let him leave, we extended the party twice and they still couldn't get enough. Dan was such a great addition to our wedding and I cannot imagine there is a more fun, organized, and personal DJ. Dan, THANK YOU for being such a kind and amazing person and making our wedding so memorable. Thank you for integrating the music and in effect helping to integrate family and friends who came as strangers to each other and left as friends. You were/are simply the best!

Verified Mahalo Plenty Maui DJ Dan! You helped make our wedding day and reception spectacular! Dan created a playlist based on songs we provided and was able to weave in the Hawaiian feeling we wanted. Dan gave us a CD after the event that IS the soundtrack of our life. Not just a DJ - Dan provided humor and a number of great stories. Thanks Dan, you are forever in our hearts. Here is a photo of Dan predicting a long and happy life and getting a lot of laughs in the process.

Verified DJ Dan was the DJ for our 5th grade banquet last May. He was amazing! The 100 students we had at the event had a blast dancing to his music. DJ Dan was very adaptive to what the students wanted to hear, while ensuring that the music was also age appropriate. He had them do dance contests, danced with them, and let them see help DJ. I would definitely recommend DJ Dan for any event!

Verified DJ Dan hosted and DJ'd our reception at the 5 Palms. As it was a destination wedding, we did everything by phone and email. Dan was super friendly from the beginning, attentive and always answered every question I had. He made every effort to play all of our favorite songs, which were a lot! He was even gracious enough to play some Persian music for our family! Dan did a fantastic job and even took some pictures after the photographers left and sent them to us! We want him around for all our parties!!

Top-Rated Mobile DJ Services in Beaverton, OR

Top-tier work from a mobile disc jockey in Beaverton means understanding that this city runs two genuinely different kinds of events at once. A Silicon Forest corporate event, tied to Nike’s campus or one of the 300-plus tech companies in the area, needs music that reads as professional background energy, not a party atmosphere out of place in a conference room setting. A wedding at Jenkins Estate, The Reserve, or Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club needs the opposite: real dance-floor energy timed around the couple’s actual taste and venue layout. Getting either one wrong is the fastest way to lose a room entirely. Portland DJ Dan Weisman treats that distinction as the actual job.

FAQs

What types of events can a mobile DJ in Beaverton handle?

Weddings, company get-togethers, birthdays, school events, private parties, and pretty much any other celebration. Dan changes the music, the gear, and the way he runs the mic for each one. It all depends on the venue, who's coming, and the mood you want.

What is included with Mobile DJ Services in Beaverton?

Sound equipment, lighting, music, setup, MC work, and teardown afterward. Dan doesn't show up with one standard rig and hope it fits. He plans around your venue and your event, so the music and announcements work in the space and stay on schedule.

Can I request specific songs or music styles?

Yes. Dan isn't tied to a set playlist. Tell him the songs you want, the genres you like, and any special moments you're planning. The soundtrack should sound like your event and the people at it.

Does a mobile DJ provide microphones and sound for ceremonies or speeches?

He can, as long as it's part of your setup. Announcements, toasts, ceremonies, other scheduled moments - all of that. Dan thinks about the sound for your venue so people can actually hear, and the switch between music and speaking doesn't get messy.

Yes. Product launches, holiday parties, company celebrations, other work gatherings. A business event isn't a wedding reception, and Dan doesn't treat it like one. He adjusts the music and the energy for your crowd, your goals, and the setting.

Dan does. He brings professional sound and lighting. Every venue is different, though, so he doesn't just roll in with the same rig each time. Room size, acoustics, layout, and what your event calls for all shape how he sets up.

How far in advance should I book a mobile DJ in Beaverton?

Early helps, especially for weddings, corporate events, and dates that fill up fast. If your event needs a lot of planning, even more so. Contact Dan with your date, venue, event type, and timing, and he'll plan around what you need.

What makes Portland DJ Dan Weisman a professional mobile DJ in Beaverton?

He prepares ahead. Dan talks through the venue, the crowd, the timeline, and your music preferences before the event. Backup equipment travels with him to every booked event. And it's one person doing setup, MC duties, music, and teardown, start to finish.

How do I book a Mobile DJ Service in Beaverton?

Send Dan your date, location, the kind of celebration, and any music or timing needs. After that, you two plan around your venue, your crowd, the songs you want, the sound you need, and the kind of night you want your guests to have.
